What's the difference between sulphured and unsulphured dried fruit? - unsulphured dried fruit

Containing a sulfur addition to the obvious and the other not, how do you know the difference? Sulfur is dangerous to eat fruit? I ate a lot of dried ginger for morning sickness, and I read that it can be unhealthy.

Sulfur is to prevent fading. Change the taste of some. Usually it is a question of marketing, such as red dye in the flesh.

Help in certain color, nuts sulfur keep their natural color, while fruit unsulfured tend to brown when dried.

I thought it was selected because the high sugar content.

Sulfur is used to speed up the drying process. Unsulfured nuts are dried in the sun or other heat sources.

The sulfur content in dried fruits, probably will not hurt.
